Get your hands--and feet--dirty at the Re: Seed Saugerties EcoArt Seed Sculpting Lab.
Mix, mold and create seed sculptures made of clay, manure, soil and various nitrogen fixing seedsto be used as a medium to disseminate in a public, collaborative, live-art, sculpting studio. Stroll with us on an active installation walk as we install these sculptures in various places around town or taken home, so that nitrogen fixing flowers and plants will grow from our sculptures. Savor moments of outdoors lab/action appreciation. Consider this an open invitation for a hands-on, non-directed, lesson in sustainability arts, bioremediation arts, the art of soil building. The event is open to the public and is a free event.
